American Society of Addiction Medicine
ASAM's mission is to increase access to and improve the quality of addiction treatment; to educate physicians and other health care providers and the public; to support research and prevention; to promote the appropriate role of the physician in the care of patients with addiction;
and to establish addiction medicine as a primary specialty recognized by professional organizations, governments, physicians, purchasers and consumers of health care services, and the general public.

Association of Student Assistance Professionals of New Jersey
ASAP - NJ seeks to advocate and set standards for quality student assistance programs and services for youth and promotes the student assistance profession to meet youth needs as it relates to high-risk behaviors.

MHANJ - Mental Health Association of New Jersey
he Mental Health Association in New Jersey strives for children and adults to achieve mental health through advocacy, education, training, and services.

National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACoA)
NACoA is a non-profit membership and affiliate organization working on behalf of children of alcoholics. The mission of the organization and its affiliates is to raise public awareness, to provide leadership in public policy, and to inform and educate academic and other community systems. Affiliate: Mercer Council on Alcoholism and Drug Addiction (MCADA)

The National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors
(NASADAD) is a private, non-profit educational, scientific, and informational organization. The Association was incorporated in 1971 to serve State Drug Agency Directors, in 1978 the membership was expanded to include State Alcoholism Agency Directors.
