The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD)-New Jersey promotes the prevention and treatment of, and recovery from, alcoholism and drug addiction through advocacy and education. We support the recovery of alcoholics, drug addicted individuals and their families and work to reduce the stigma surrounding the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. The agency formulates public policy initiatives and advocates for legislation and regulations that are in keeping with a public health approach to the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. Social Services Coordinator-Union County

The objective of this position is to ensure effective communication among multiple systems and agencies involved with the client. The position will ensure consistency of appropriate services by coordinating referrals of DCP&P-involved clients suspected of a substance abuse problem. The Coordinator ensures the coordination of referrals and information flow between DCP&P, the CPSAI, and the WFNJ SAI/BHI. Duties for this position include processing all DCP&P/welfare referrals along with coordinating and participating in monthly DCP&P case conferences. The Coordinator performs other administrative tasks related to the effective functioning of the DCP&P CWRP/SAI/BHI initiative. The Coordinator should possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 2 years direct administrative experience, or a high school diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years direct administrative experience. Experience working with DCP&P and/or TANF populations strongly preferred. Knowledge of substance abuse/mental health and treatment modalities a plus. Must be able to work across organizational systems in order to obtain services and information from various agencies such as the Board of Social Services, DCP&P, the CPSAI, Employment Services, and other partner agencies. Must be able to efficiently manage a flow of continuous information across multiple systems. Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Care Coordinators

NCADD-NJ has two clinical positions available located in Gloucester/Salem and Altantic/Cape May Counties. Duties include behavioral health/substance abuse assessments and treatment referrals. Candidates must have a Master’s and LPC, LCADC or LCSW or have made significant progress toward one of these licenses and have extensive applied knowledge of ASAM Criteria, 3rd Ed. and the DSM 5. Human Resources Assistant

NCADD-NJ has a part time position located in Robbinsville, NJ. Must have at least two years of prior experience in a Human Resources Department. Must be able to work between 21-24 hours per week, no weekends or evenings. Duties include assisting with the onboarding process, open enrollment, special projects and providing general administrative assistance to the HR Manager. Must have basic knowledge of principles and procedures of human resources administration and applicable state and federal laws. Must have good planning, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills. Must have confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people.
