The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD)-New Jersey promotes the prevention and treatment of, and recovery from, alcoholism and drug addiction through advocacy and education. We support the recovery of alcoholics, drug addicted individuals and their families and work to reduce the stigma surrounding the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. The agency formulates public policy initiatives and advocates for legislation and regulations that are in keeping with a public health approach to the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. Assistant Care Coordinators-Clifton, Newark and Robbinsville

The Assistant Care Coordinator is a non-clinical position located in Clifton, Newark and Robbinsville. Duties include managing complex assessment schedules, processing referrals, answering phones, providing outreach to clients, coordinating services and performing administrative tasks. Must be extremely detailed oriented and reliable. Working experience with domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health disorders is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent, and driver’s license required. Excellent benefits, generous time off. Family Violence Option Risk Assessors-Clifton, Newark and Robbinsville 

The Risk Assessor provides in-person and web-based secure video Family Violence Option (FVO) Risk Assessments, safety plans, and service plans that are designed to lead to employment-directed activities to the extent that engaging in employment does not endanger the individual.  

Must be a Master’s Level Social Worker, Counselor, Advanced Practice Nurse, Psychologist. Certification in domestic violence training preferred.  At least 1.5 years of direct experience working with individuals impacted by domestic violence, knowledge of trauma, substance use, and mental health disorders strongly preferred. Must have extensive assessment  experience. 

Must be able to work across organizational boundaries in order to obtain services from various agencies that collaborate with WFNJ recipients, welfare caseworkers, DCP&P, the legal system and the domestic violence service providers and shelters, in the development of a service plan.

Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Care Coordinators-Camden, Atlantic, Middlesex/Mercer, Hudson, Passaic and Somerset Counties

The Care Coordinator conducts behavioral health and substance abuse assessments and treatment referrals.

Must hold a master's in counseling, social work or related field. LPC, LCADC or LCSW with co-occuring experience strongly preferred or documented evidence that a license will be obtained in the next year. Should have at least two years experience in treating substnace use and mental health disorders and extensive applied knowledge of The ASAM Criteria, 3rd Ed. and the DSM 5.

Human Resources Assistant-PT

NCADD-NJ has a part time position located in Robbinsville, NJ. Must have at least one year of experience in a Human Resources Department. Must be able to work between 18-22 hours per week, no weekends or evenings. Duties include assisting with the onboarding process, open enrollment, special projects and providing general administrative assistance to the HR Manager. Must have basic knowledge of principles and procedures of human resources administration and applicable state and federal laws. Must have good planning and organizational skills. Must practice confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people. If you are looking for a casual and laid back office environment, this might just be the perfect fit.
